What is stored
LotTrail stores your sign-in identifier and email, profile, dealership assignment, saved vehicles, listing records, follow-up tasks, support requests, and shared comparison snapshots in its hosted database. Approved dealership inventory is stored to support searches and change checks.
Who can access it
The platform owner manages accounts, dealership connections, support requests, and administrative activity. Salespeople can access their assigned dealership’s inventory and their own saved work. An owner can administer stored data for support and maintenance. A customer comparison is accessible to anyone holding its link until it expires or is revoked.
Sign-in and connected services
This release uses Sign in with ChatGPT. LotTrail does not receive or store your ChatGPT password. It is not connected to VinSolutions, vAuto, payment providers, email sending services, or a hosted AI provider. The companion extension can prepare Facebook drafts after your instruction.
Sharing and retention
Customer links expire after seven days and can be revoked earlier. Your profile contact details and selected vehicle information are included when you create a link. Expired snapshots remain stored for support until removed by the operator. Account and workspace records remain stored while needed for the service; request deletion by contacting Michael.
Device storage
The website may remember a local appearance preference. The desktop extension stores its separate profile and history in your Chrome profile. Exporting an extension backup does not create a website backup, and uninstalling an extension may remove its local data.
Appropriate use
Only connect inventory and use photos that you are authorized to access and reuse. Keep sensitive customer information in your approved CRM. Review specifications, availability, pricing, finance illustrations, and generated wording before sending or publishing. LotTrail does not establish lender approval, verify vehicle condition, or guarantee a platform’s acceptance of a listing.
