LOTTRAIL SITE UPDATES

What’s new.

These notes describe the public LotTrail site. Site updates do not install or update the Trail Buddy Chrome extension.

Site version 2026.11.7.14

Photo Studio can load a prepared cutout for the exact saved exterior photo as a candidate. Compare it with the original and approve the reviewed result before using it. Interior and detail photos keep their original framing.

Existing reviewed galleries stay unchanged. Saved background preferences remain available, while automatic background generation and preloading remain disabled. This update does not enable paid automatic processing or approve a cutout for you.

Site version 2026.11.7.13

Requests that need review stay visible in Activity with their result and a link to the saved listing.

Trail Buddy 3.3.28 uses field changes and elapsed settling time while preparing a Facebook form. Help & setup includes a private, read-only publication-recording diagnostic. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site.

Photo Studio can add a soft ground shadow to a reviewed exterior background. The option starts off. Place the tire-contact points, adjust the shadow, then compare and approve the complete preview. Changing the source photo clears its points; changing the scene or shadow requires a new preview.

Saved gallery choices identify photos with and without a ground shadow. Existing galleries stay as they are. Trail Buddy 3.3.28 supports these reviewed photos. Interior and detail photos keep their full frame, with the contact banner added last.

Automatic exterior cutouts remain under quality review. This update does not enable paid background processing or resend stopped publishing requests.

Site version 2026.11.7.12

Review to publish on a saved listing now starts its review with one click. You still review the vehicle and give final approval before publication.

Trail Buddy 3.3.26 fills fields before requesting the remaining photos for the Facebook form. It also reports a known field-check timeout recovery more precisely. The five-second field-entry window is unchanged, and stopped requests are not replayed. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site.

Automatic exterior cutouts remain under quality review and are not enabled for all inventory.

Site version 2026.11.7.11

A requested vehicle check now looks up evidence for that vehicle without reading the whole dealership inventory.

Trail Buddy 3.3.25 keeps the original error when preparation stops before photo upload, instead of reporting a misleading gallery error.

If a valid response arrives after its five-second field-entry window, Trail Buddy can request one fresh check before entering anything. Each window starts when its check is requested. Photos, Next, saving and Publish still need fresh checks. Stopped requests are not restarted automatically. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site.

Site version 2026.11.7.10

Notifications can show the vehicle, publication result and next action using encrypted details. Open LotTrail on each device to refresh its existing notification subscription. Device and operating system settings still control whether an alert appears.

The photo-order editor now keeps portrait and interior photos fully in frame, matching the listing gallery review. Your reviewed gallery, optional nameplate and contact banner stay with the listing.

Trail Buddy 3.3.24 lets you select and review several Facebook price changes or removals that you already completed, then record their outcomes in Trail Buddy. Recording an outcome does not change a Facebook listing.

During field entry, Trail Buddy can reuse an approved check for up to five seconds. It still makes fresh checks for photos, Next, saving and Publish. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site.

Automatic exterior cutouts remain under quality review and are not enabled for all inventory.

Site version 2026.11.7.9

Vehicle Photos brings Original photos, exterior scene review and saved background choices together. Interior and detail photos keep their full original framing.

Review the photos you want in order. You can keep the remaining Original photos with one action, save your reviewed choices with the listing, and resume completed photo work after an interruption.

The first photo can carry your contact banner and an optional nameplate. Add a caption with a replacement background, or position a cover on the Original photo.

Trail Buddy 3.3.23 is required to send a reviewed photo gallery. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site. Ordinary Original listings keep their existing flow.

Background replacement needs an approved exterior cutout. Automatic cutouts are still being tested and are not enabled for all inventory.

Site version 2026.11.7.8

The workspace photo review stays compact, including the ending contact card. Portrait and interior photos retain their full framing.

Trail Buddy 3.3.22 moves a requested dealer-detail check ahead of routine inventory warming, while active publishing keeps priority. It also recognizes supported two-tone body colors such as Orange Metallic Super Black and keeps the full dealer color in the listing text.

Result notifications start when LotTrail saves the outcome. Device permissions still control alert display. Background replacement across the full gallery remains in development; these changes do not replace existing photos or retry a Facebook post.

Site version 2026.11.7.7

Saved work & recovery can archive an outdated browser request without deleting its contents. Restore it when needed or include it in your private export. Archiving does not send or retry a Facebook request.

Publication result notifications start after the server saves the result, with scheduled retries retained. Enable notifications on each device; phone and browser settings control whether an alert is displayed.

Reload older LotTrail tabs to use the new protection for saved requests across tabs. Exterior photo preparation remains under development; interior and detail photos retain their original framing.

Site version 2026.11.7.6

Recovery now follows the exact stopped publication attempt. An older completed recovery no longer hides the latest result. For older interruptions that stopped before Publish authorization, check Facebook and close the earlier form before preparing a fresh review. Every new publication still requires approval.

Background replacement is being evaluated for exterior vehicle photos. Interior, dashboard, engine and detail photos retain their original surroundings and framing. Your contact banner remains a separate option.

Site version 2026.11.7.5

LotTrail’s photo tools separate the background, optional nameplate and contact banner. The background library now includes a quieter courtyard, pale indoor studio and restrained open-air pavilion. Automatic background processing across the full gallery remains disabled while vehicle cutout quality is tested.

Add your name, dealership, vehicle label or custom text to a nameplate. Choose its size, shape and colors, then use a caption below the photo or position it over a selected part of the Original photo. A cover requires review of that exact photo. Saved defaults apply to new listings; existing approved images stay unchanged.

Sending a reviewed single vehicle clears its completed selection so you can move to the next car. Unsent reviews and other selected cars stay saved. Trail Buddy updates separately; photo styling does not publish or replay a Facebook request.

Site version 2026.11.7.4

When you record a publication in LotTrail, the matching old warning is resolved and the listing says Published, confirmed by you. Earlier attempts stay in history. A recorded removal is shown as removed.

In progress contains active requests, while Needs attention combines unresolved requests and changed inventory. Reviewing one vehicle preserves the other cars you selected. Automatic publication records require a matching Facebook result; a manual confirmation stays labeled as yours.

Site version 2026.11.7.3

LotTrail workspace 2026.11.7.3 shows only active desktop requests under In progress. Needs attention brings the latest failed request and inventory changes into one view, with each affected vehicle shown once. Earlier attempts remain in request history.

When a Facebook publication result is uncertain, the listing points to the status check and no longer offers a competing action to proceed. Check Facebook before starting another request. This update clarifies the next action; it does not establish that a listing was published or that a notification appeared on a device.

Site version 2026.11.7.2

LotTrail workspace 2026.11.7.2 organizes saved listings, requests in progress and items needing attention around each vehicle’s current result. Earlier attempts remain available in its history. A single-vehicle review can begin while your other selected cars stay saved.

If Trail Buddy stopped before pressing Publish because a field or photo check failed, LotTrail shows the specific issue. After confirming the prior Facebook form is closed and the vehicle was not published, you can prepare a fresh review and approve a new request. A result that might have reached Publish stays held for checking in Facebook before another attempt.

Trail Buddy 3.3.18 improves matching for the fuel and color names found in the live test, and checks loaded photos on Facebook’s final review screen. The Chrome extension updates separately from this site. A Facebook publication is recorded only after a matching result is confirmed.

Site version 2026.11.7.1

LotTrail workspace 2026.11.7.1 can reuse a current branded lead photo prepared by your paired desktop while it is idle. Your contact banner stays on the photo, and saved listing images remain unchanged.

LotTrail checks the vehicle and your saved branding before reusing a prepared image. If preparation is unavailable, you can continue through the existing photo review. Keep desktop Chrome available for background preparation and reviewed publishing.

Automatic background swaps across the full photo gallery are still being tested and are not enabled. This update does not change your publication approval or confirm a Facebook result that could not be verified.

Site version 2026.11.6.6

LotTrail workspace version 2026.11.6.6 and Trail Buddy 3.3.16 improve the Facebook account check before an approved publication request proceeds. Facebook can show more than one profile link on a page. Trail Buddy continues checking the account at the publication steps instead of stopping just because it sees those links. If it cannot confirm the intended account, the listing stays held for review.

You can publish one vehicle after reviewing its details, photos and account, or work through a selected group one car at a time. Finish or stop an active group review before starting a separate one-vehicle review; your selection stays saved. Missing dealer details can be checked through the paired desktop, and the saved review can be resumed when that check finishes. The detail check itself does not send anything to Facebook.

Connected inventory checks hourly when its approved source is available. Reusable vehicle details and default listing text can be prepared ahead of time, with your edits preserved. Shared prebranded photo storage remains disabled; the branded lead photo is prepared when you continue. Confirm the exact Facebook result in LotTrail and Facebook before retrying an uncertain listing.

Site version 2026.11.6.5

LotTrail workspace version 2026.11.6.5 and Trail Buddy 3.3.15 improve the review of listings with missing dealer details. Choose Check dealer details on a held listing to ask your paired desktop to read that exact vehicle. You can leave LotTrail and return to the saved review while it checks.

When the details arrive, LotTrail updates the saved listing and prepares a fresh publication review. Check the new details, photos and price before approving. Checking dealer details does not send a draft to Facebook or publish a listing. If the dealer page cannot confirm a required detail, the listing stays held for your review.

Finish or stop a saved group review before starting a separate one-vehicle publication review. Your selected cars remain saved. Trail Buddy updates separately from this site.

Site version 2026.11.6.4

  • Publish one vehicle directly from Inventory or a saved listing. Review its details, photos and Facebook account before the final approval.
  • Your selected cars stay saved when you return to them. Finish or stop an active group review before starting a separate one-vehicle publication review.
  • Connected inventory is checked hourly when its approved source is available. Background preparation refreshes reusable details and default listing text while preserving your edits.
  • Trail Buddy 3.3.14 transfers prepared lead photos in fewer steps and gives active listing requests priority over background work.

Chrome must be available on your paired desktop. A wake signal can resume the helper; it cannot turn on a sleeping computer. Shared prepared-photo storage is being enabled separately. Until it is available, LotTrail prepares the branded lead photo when you continue.

Automatic recording still requires an exact, verified Facebook confirmation. A matching row in Facebook’s listing history is not enough. If the result cannot be verified, check the listing and record its link without submitting it again.

Site version 2026.11.6.3

Workspace version 2026.11.6.3 supports automatic recording with Trail Buddy 3.3.12. After you click Publish on a supported desktop form, Trail Buddy checks Facebook’s fresh confirmation for the same vehicle and price before saving the exact listing link in LotTrail.

My listings shows Submitted to Facebook and a link to the result. Facebook may still be reviewing the listing. If its confirmation cannot be verified, or you leave the posting flow before it appears, use the manual recording option. This does not submit a listing again.

The Chrome extension must be updated separately. This update does not open public signup or change who can access a workspace.

Site version 2026.11.6.2

  • Updated the phone listing guide to explain both saved drafts and the optional reviewed publication path.
  • Clarified how to check a paused or uncertain request before trying it again.
  • Explained that iPhone notifications require adding LotTrail to the Home Screen.
  • Corrected the privacy explanation for browser recovery data and private listing photos.

Publishing still requires your review of the exact car, price, photos and listing details, followed by explicit approval. Keep your paired desktop Chrome available. A request can pause when details or the Facebook result are uncertain.

Earlier LotTrail workspace update

Workspace version 2026.11.6.2 added a return to your selected cars, clearer Needs review and Queue & results pages, full vehicle photo framing, and notification setup with an explicit reminder option. My listings finds saved work by vehicle name, stock number or VIN.
